This mission is at the heart of everything we do. At CIMI, discovery comes alive through hands-on marine science, ocean adventure, and meaningful personal growth. Students don’t just learn about the ocean—they discover new character within themselves and build connections that last a lifetime.
Our Vision
CIMI builds future stewards of the sea by engaging students in marine science, conservation, and environmental literacy.
Through immersive experiences in the natural world, we inspire young people to grow in curiosity, build confidence, and the importance of conservation.
The Impact of Camp
CIMI and Guided Discoveries have always recognized the power of the ‘camp experience.’ Spending time away from home for multiple days and taking on new challenges allows children to grow in a way that only camp can do. Camp provides a safe and supportive environment for children to step out of their comfort zones and become the best version of themselves.
